Introducción

Clorindo Testa es, posiblemente, el arquitecto argentino -aunque nacido en Italia- que ha logrado mayor consideración entre sus pares en la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Sus obras son de una originalidad indudable y de una fuerza sorprendentes.
Pero además Testa es un plástico, que desde comienzos de la década del 50, imprime en cuadros, instalaciones y esculturas, su personal percepción de la forma, el color y la vida.
Pintor y arquitecto son una misma persona, y toda su obra es el reflejo de esa misma inquietud creadora, del mismo lápiz ansioso sobre el mismo bloc de papel sobre el que Testa concibe sus creaciones.
